What is bhringraj?

Bhringraj is an Indian herb also known as eclipta alba. In India, the plant is known as bhangra, bhringaraj or bhringraja.

When bhringraj oil is applied to the hair, it promotes hair growth, and is a natural cure for balding and thinning hair.

The medicinal uses of eclipta alba are great. Bhringraj, which literally translates to “king of hair” is used to regrow hair, and can be a natural cure for balding, also known as alopecia.
